In this course you will learn the best yoga exercises for children that you can do with your students.  

Of course during the course you will learn hundreds of exercises, but will need to select some of them that will turn to be your yogic routine: it’s about finding the perfect mix of exercises that will give the greatest advantage to your students in every one of the macro objectives of the Program. How long does the Teacher Training last?

The duration of this course depends on 2 factors: 

  1. The frequency of the exercises (f.e. daily, weekly, montly);
  2. The amount of hours you spend with a class: f.e. if you teach English you will have more hours compared with a Maths teacher.

For this reason, the duration of the program may vary, but in general it corresponds to one school year. 

What you need to know, is that you will see the benefits already starting from the first week and that the goal is not to finish off the course as soon as possibile but to help your students improve right away (I’m saying this to you because often we exchange the goal with the objective: This is something we will talk about during the course). 

How is the course arranged?

The course is provided completely online in an asynchronous way and you will be able to acces it 24/7 without moving from home and simply accessing your Google Classroom.

Five Steps Yoga Method

60 Yoga exercised divided into 5 phases in order to gradually  bring your students towards a state of relaxation and focus

The 60 exercises are divided into 12 sequences and each  sequence is composed by 10 items. The Five Steps Yoga Program will take you exactly 10 minutes every day.  

The goal of this program is to let students be AUTONOMOUS in planning their own yoga sequence. Students can also use the Five Steps Yoga at home to do their 10 minute-routine daily. 

THE FIVE STEPS YOGA HAS BEEN STUDIED TO BE A TOOL THAT STUDENTS WILL USE ALL LIFE LONG. 

SECOND AREA OF LEARNING
Integrating Yoga in the didactics

This section has been designed to help students improve their ability to concentrate while studying and while attending classes. 

Furthermore, thanks to the exercises for integrating yoga in the teaching and learning process and thanks to the perseverance in practicing the Five Steps Yoga, your students will be able to reach the 4 objectives of this program. They are: 

Do I get a certificate?

A certificate will be issued once the second level of Yoga in Classe is attained (25 hours), which can be accessed just after the completion of the basic level.

The certificate will attest your ability to integrate yoga into your teaching with the aim to improve their concentration, self-discipline, ability to relax and their awareness.

I assure you that obtaining your certificate will be a great goal since you will have the chance to see how far you went with your students and how many changes took place in the consciousness. 

 

We release the certificate just after we assessed in a simple but precise way that your students have learned both the Yoga in Classe exercises and the ones for integrating of yoga in the didactics.

 

As far as time is concerned, I promise you we are very far from the usual time-wasting paper: in this program you wil need to do a lot of practice with your students. 

In which schools wil I be able to teach Yoga in Classe?

Yoga in classe is a valid support for both public and private schools indipendently from their pedagogic approach (f.e. Montessori or Steiner School, forest kindergarten and so on).

The principles of Yoga are universal and the program has been designed in a way that doesn’ hurt the creed of the students in any way

In the program we never talk about God nor about topics concerning indusism.  

Every exercise is comparable with simple gymnastics, breathing and concentration exercises that can also be found in the athletic training of sportsmen. 

What is the course program?

1-Five Steps Yoga Program: 60 Yoga exercises divided into 5 levels that will teach your students how to relax the body and concentrate the mind.

In this program your students will learn very important meditation and breathing tecniques that will be useful in managing stress, reducing mood swings and incresing concentration during school hours.

2-Educational Stories: 12 educational stories will be taught to your students to convey the basic principles for training the mind. Thanks to those stories children will have the chance to learn fundamental life teachings that will help them in school and in their everyday life. 

3-Exercises for the integration of Yoga in the didactics: we will teach you priceless exercises to help you binding together the mind training principles with the daily classroom activities such as being attentive during classes or keeping high the attention when doing schoolwork on the notebook.  Those exercises  are really essential since they are simple and effective. 

4-Concentration games: Children are more and more forced into the frenetic world of multitasking.  For this reason I decided to create games that allow them to experiment high levels of concentration and help them be present here and now. Furthermore those games are excellent alternatives to spend their time during their break at school.

If done with perseverance, those games have an important imoact on the attention level of your students. 

5-The journal of the Yogi: THis is an extraordinary news that makes this course unique. The journal of the Yogi is a notebook where the students will do their concentration exercises. In this journal they will report their small steps towards their continuos improvement. Apart from being a nice memory for your students, the journal of the Yogi will be a real manual of personal growth. Isn’t this GREAT?!
